Start and end of the work package: from Month 07 to Month 21
It is mainly related to structure and morphology analysis of the obtained materials. Both SEM and Tomography techniques will be used. Changes in morphology will be linked to different composition, different sinter transformation and phase formation in the materials. Information about the crystal phase distribution as a function of chemical composition and fraction size of the raw material will be obtained. Information about the porosity (both shape and size), pore distribution, relation between residual pores and crystallization induced pores will gain. Simple criteria, which distinguished the residual pores from the crystallization induced pores will be developed and the formation of crystalline crust will be elucidated.
